DWT Employment
In this daylong conference presented by the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, DWT attorneys examine and discuss legal matters emerging in the video game industry as well as other forms of digital media.

DWT partner Judy Keyes will take part in a panel titled "Gender Bias and Related Issues." With Gamergate proving to be a precursor to the #metoo movement and the events of the past 18 months or so, this panel revisits issues first raised in 2015 with respect to gender bias in the digital media and video game spaces, and will provide insights into the current climate impacting companies and their employees.

DWT partner Kelli Sager is taking part in a panel of leading IP litigators titled "IP Litigation Who's Who." They will provide an update on cases decided over the past 12 to 18 months most relevant to the video game and digital media spaces, including what you should know as it relates to copyright, trademarks, rights of publicity, music, and patent litigation.
